June 17th, 2009 by Silvia- It’s official! Claire Danes will be wearing a Narciso Rodriguez wedding gown for her wedding to Hugh Dancy. The actress says: “He’s making it. I get weepy. .. more emotional than I was expecting,[...] I’m so privileged. I’m collaborating a little bit, but I’m just trusting him implicitly. I’m offing my ideas, but they always pale in comparison to his.” The designer, who famously designed Caroline Bessette Kennedy’s wedding gown to John F. Kennedy Jr., says, “I just try to make her look more beautiful,” he said. “And it’s not hard to make her look beautiful.”
- Michael Strahan– ex New York Giant and actor– just got engaged to Nicole Murphy– Eddie Murphy’s ex. The actor popped the question in the Bahamas with a canary yellow and white diamond ring!
- Tennis star Boris Becker wed his girlfriend Sharlely “Lilly” Kerssenberg in Switzerland. Alicia Keys performed at the reception in front of 200 guests! Sounds like a beautiful wedding!
- Shooter Jennings proposed to Sopranos star Drea de Matteo while onstage. The rocker announced their engagement via his twitter. Congratulations to the lovely couple!
