Hi everyone! Ready for this week’s batch of celeb gossip?

• The first piece of news is an update on Beverley Mitchell’s wedding, which took place in Ravello, Italy. She looks so pretty! Jessica Biel, who had been enjoying a Roman holiday with her boyfriend Justin Timberlake made a great bridesmaid.
  
• Eddie Van Halen is engaged to long-time girlfriend and publicist Janie Liszewski. He proposed while they were vacationing in Hawaii and the date has been set sometime next June.
  
• Melanie Brown aka Scary Spice and recent hubby Stephen Belafonte are planning to renew their vows after only one year of marriage. The party is to be held in Egypt.
  
• Radio jock Howard Stern put down the mic long enough to marry his long-time girlfriend Beth Ostrosky in NYC last Friday night. The guest list included Joan Rivers, Barbara Walters, Billy Joel and wife Katie Lee, Jimmy Kimmel, Sarah Silverman and Stern’s radio co-host, Robin Quivers. The wedding was officiated by Mark Consuelos (Kelly Ripa’s husband), Billy Joel performed, and Artie Lange, Jimmy Kimmel, and Chevy Chase gave the  toasts. Stern, known for his raunchy  radio show, apparently has a soft-side. He proposed on Valentine’s day last year with a 5.2 carat diamond ring and the guests were brought to tears by the couple’s personalized vows. Beth also told OK! that “she never thought of herself as the blushing-bride type before she met Howard. ‘I never wanted to get married. I never thought that was in my cards,’ she said. ‘Howard was actually the one who wanted to get married. From the second that he mentioned it, I was all in… I’m so blissfully happy, and I can’t imagine not marrying Howard. I’m so excited.’”
  
  
• Elsewhere in Tinseltown, Kate Hudson and Anne Hathaway are filming the upcoming flick Bride Wars where they play best friends who happen to be getting married on the same day. Of course, they end up competing for the same guests and even the same ideas. Hilarity is sure to ensue. Here are some pictures of the stars in costume. • Finally, in the last bit of movie weddings, Jessica Simpson is also filming her latest flick Major Movie Star, where her character apparently gets married. I’m not sure why she’s on the floor, but I guess we’ll just have to find out!
  
• Poppy Montgomery hosted a spa-themed bridal shower for future bride Roselyn Sanchez in her Pacific Palisades home. Among the guests were Roselyn’s good friend Eva Longoria.
  
• Former American Idol contestant LaKisha Jones married financial advisor Larry Davis in Beverly Hills on Sunday.
