Happy October everyone! To kick off the month, I’d like to announce the start of a new feature here on the Beau-coup blog called Celebrity Wedding Wednesdays, where we will provide you with the celebrity wedding gossip for the week. We’ll be featuring everything from engagements, to marriages, and even a few random bits in between. So don’t forget to pop in on Wednesdays for your celeb gossip fix!

• The big news this week is Scarlett Johanssen and Ryan Reynold’s wedding that took place in Vancouver, B.C. It was an intimate ceremony with only about 40 guests on the grounds of the Clayoquot Wilderness Resort. According to People, the couple plans to throw a bigger party to celebrate the nuptials at a later date, so stay tuned for new details on that!
  
• Beverly Mitchell (from 7th Heaven) is getting married today and former co-stars Jessica Biel and Mackenzie Rosman will be joining in as her bridesmaids.
  
• “Rachel Getting Married” opens this Friday starring Rosemary Dewitt as Rachel and Anne Hathaway as her druggie sister who is being let out for the occasion. Not exactly a feel-good movie, but about weddings nonetheless!
  
• Having Rachel Bilson as a BFF has its perks. When O.C. and Gossip Girl creator Josh Schwartz married his girlfriend Jill Stonerick, with Bilson as maid of honor, the very fashionable Bilson collaborated with long-time friend and designer Brian Reyes to create 5 one of a kind bridesmaid dresses for the event. What do you all think?
  
• Leonardo DiCaprio has confessed that he would love to get married and have children. His previous statement on the subject 4 years ago had said that he essentially didn’t believe in love. When asked about it, he said he no longer agreed with that sentiment and that it “sounds like the ignorance of youth.” It’s about time! By the way, in an entirely un-related piece of Leo news, he got together with a ton of celebrities to create this awesome ad– Don’t Vote! Check it out.
  
• Tennis star Mardy Fish got married to Deal or No Deal’s Stacey Gardner on Sunday in Beverly Hills. Fellow tennis star James Blake was a groomsmen, and NBA star Kevin Garrett attended as a guest. Unfortunately his good friend Andy Roddick was unable to join in the fun, since he was at the China Open.
  
• It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia co-stars Kaitlin Olson and Rob McElhenney got married this Saturday. Danny Devito, Fred Savage, and Emily Deschanel were all in attendance at the Malibu wedding. According to People, this show has played Cupid to more than one couple. Charlie Day and Mary Elizabeth Ellis also tied the knot in 2006.
