I’ve been tapped by the bride-to-be to come up with the wish tree. This is a semi-traditional practice where guests are given the opportunity to write down advice for the newly married couple. I have a few ways I can go. The simple way would be to find a big fishbowl and ask guests to deposit their advice cards into it. A slightly more elaborate idea would be to find a branched plant and ask guests to tie their cards to the branches. This can be very lovely if done well. Or I can go all out and make an oversized pin board, covered in some pretty fabric and have guests pin their cards to the board with pearl-tipped pins.
