Equestrian Wedding Inspiration
July 9th, 2010 by SilviaHorses are synonymous with romance and visions of a bride in a long white gown astride one of those magnificent creatures evokes nostalgia for days gone by. Therefore, I thought it only appropriate to feature some equestrian wedding inspiration so you can plan your own romantic wedding.
To set the scene, hold your wedding at a ranch somewhere with stunning vistas of mountain ranges and with plenty of open space.

For the decor, consider using browns and oranges in your flowers and also on your linens. Some pretty horse stamped stationery would be perfect for the place cards and programs.

Use the image of a horse on other details like favor bags, centerpieces, and use horses or a horse and carriage as your getaway.

Get inspired by equestrian apparel and wear some riding boots, carry a riding crop and have your groom pose with a riding cap.

For the food, set up some picnic style fare such as bread and various cheeses and dips, little strawberry tarts, and mini bundt cakes. You can also incorporate fresh fruits and vegetables into your menu.
