Spring Garden Wedding Theme
April 2nd, 2010 by SilviaThe April showers are definitely here, but these wedding pictures definitely make me excited for all the flowers and sunshine that’s hopefully on its way!
For the perfect spring wedding, set up a lovely tent (in case of rain) and have a lovely pink and green garden soiree. You’ll want to pick a place that has plenty of winding little paths to escape with your husband to-be for a little while.

Take your surroundings into account and decorate with plenty of flowers and greenery. You can set up your escort cards in little terracotta pots or add in some fruits or candles to accent the flowers. You can also have some hanging plants that can later be re-used in your garden or a guest’s.

I’ve got Easter on the brain, so these little egg cartons with baby chicks are absolutely adorable to me. I also like the concept of making little terrariums with some plant seeds and placing a faux butterfly on the outside. You can also combine your place cards and wedding favors by placing little bags of candy on each guests’ spot. As a final touch, you can also place some glittery decorated easter eggs to accent rhe spot and dont’ forget to incorporate some seasonal flowers like tulips and cherry blossoms.

As for the food, stick with the color scheme by opting for pink frosting topped with plenty of flowers on your cake. You can also serve your guests some pink lemonade, and ask your caterer to pick foods that match the pink and green theme.

Finally for the attire, you can dress in a pink gown yourself, or just add a sash for a pop of color. Dress your maids in varying shades of pink or green. Finally, don’t forget to add some flowers into your own hair and to get a cute little bolero jacket or cardigan to keep warm in case there’s still a little chill in the air.
