Plenty of Place card Holders
November 17th, 2008 by silviaI ran across a lovely wedding on Southern Weddings today, and the couple used topiary place card holders that fit in perfectly with their reception theme. So, I thought that I should post some pictures of some place card holders for different themes to give you some inspiration for your tables.
If you’re having a wine themed reception, or holding your party at a vineyard, why not use these unique wine cork place card holders.

Along that same vein, if you’re having a fall wedding, these fall leaf place card holders would work, or you could go natural with a pretty pine cone (courtesy of Hostess with the Mostess).

If you’re having a seasonal wedding, there are place card holders for every season. For a spring wedding, you could have a heart bud vase holder or butterfly holders, for summer these sailboat place card holders would be perfect and for winter, you could get into the holiday spirit with these Christmas ornament inspired holders, mini Christmas tree holders, and these snowflake ornaments.

For a beach wedding, consider going eco-friendly with some natural seashells as your place card holders. On the other hand, consider using some sleek silver ball-shaped place card holders for a black-tie affair.

You could even mix it up a bit by having some kid-friendly place card holders for the kids table. Check out these cupcake place card holders or candy-filled gift boxes that can double as favors. The kids at your reception (young and old) would definitely enjoy these!

As you can see, there are place card holders for just about any theme. Check out Beau-coup’s selection of place card holders for even more ideas.

Picking up on your comment about eco-friendly seashells for a beach wedding, you may be interested to know about my blog:

… where readers can post questions about how to make their weddings and other celebrations more eco-friendly, or they can email them to me, and I respond with the answers.
The blog is based on my latest book, “How To Get Married In Green: have an eco-friendly wedding without compromising on style,” which was published recently.
You can read more about the book here:

…although of course it’s available on all Amazons, not just the UK version, and is in most good book stores worldwide.
And by the way – two recent posts on my blog are about eco-friendly gifts – some are ideal for the Holiday season as well as for bridal couples!
With all good wishes
