As pretty as they are, they don't stand up straight, not exactly. The silver wrap-around metal votive stand acts like a spring, and because the metal is spiraling, there is no perfectly level bottom for the glass votive to rest on. They give a little wiggle if they are touched. It's kinda cute, but if they will be looked at from eye level, for instance lined up on a fireplace mantel, you would definitely notice they are all tilted. Fortunately, if you put one on a tabletop, your eyes are never really at the same level as the candle.

The staff enjoyed this little "take home" gift which made the table more festive.
