A Michigan baby beat the odds on Sunday when it was born in a car during an intense blizzard with the help of local police.
The baby, named Bradley, was delivered in a vehicle during his family's stalled 50-mile voyage to the hospital, after which he was finally transported to the Munson Medical Center in the back of an ambulance with his new mother, Jessica, reports the Washington Post.
Could this have been the best birthday present of all? Jessica and Bradley were back home on Monday, which just happened to be her husband Greg's birthday, reports the news source.
Then again, we wonder if Bradley's baby shower in any way predicted the bizarre scenario of his birth.
Perhaps guests received personalized winter-themed cookies or winter chocolate pretzel twists. Snowflake coasters would have been a less delicious but more accurate forecast of the event, as would winter silhouettes mint tins or snowflake ornament frames.
