Eva Longoria to host pink princess baby shower fete for Victoria Beckham

What do you get when one A-lister plans a baby shower for another? The grandest old heap of gifts and dreamed-of decor - all pulled together with a "pink princess" baby girl theme. That's what's on Eva Longoria's mind, anyway, as she prepares to coordinate her pal Victoria Beckham's May 6 shower with the help of celebrity hairdresser Ken Pavés.

"Eva and Ken are going totally [over the top] and camping it up," a source told Mirror UK. "As well as having baby-pink cupcakes and marshmallow towers, pink bubbly will be stored in a huge, ice-filled pram. The plan is for a mini-tea party during which everyone will hand over their gifts. You can expect a lot of Tiffany merchandise and designer babygros."

Once the formalities are underway, a select few from the guest list - which includes the likes of Heidi Klum, Katie Holmes, Kate Beckinsale, Jessica and Ashlee Simpson, Rachel Zoe and January Jones - will head over to Eva's restaurant, Beso, for dinner.

You don't need to have a star-sized budget to go all out for your baby shower. Cupcake stands are an inexpensive way to tastefully prop up your treats, and while not all of your guests will be heading to fine jewelry stores, you can certainly return the motion by offering them engraved rhinestone toggle bracelets.
