Try as we might to plan for the worst, some wedding days are bound to end up coinciding with a less-than-ideal forecast. That's what happened to Kelsey Grammer at his New York City marital shindig on Friday, but it seems like the actor had no trouble making the most of a rainy situation.
According to People.com, Grammer and his new wife, Kayte Walsh, had oversized props and bouquets of blooms grace their venue, indulged in poetry readings featuring verses the couple had written for each other and danced the night away in a ballroom bedecked with gold lounge furniture to classic beats that everyone could get down to.
"It was gorgeous, very classy," a guest told the news source. "It wasn't too much and it wasn't too little. They definitely did it right."
Couples who are worried about a little untimely weather can take a note out of the Grammers' book and plan fun activities that everyone will be able to participate in and enjoy. Contemporary square glass vases filled with white lilies and water pearls will instantly add cheer to any environment.
