How to make the bride-to-be feel like a princess for the day

Does your favorite gal pal have a wedding coming up? Perhaps you've been charged with putting together the bridal shower. Coming up with a fun theme can seem like a difficult task, but it doesn't have to be! The important thing is that you ensure the bride-to-be feels like the most special lady in the world for a day. And what better way to do that than to give her the royal treatment - literally! A princess-themed party could be just what you need to leave the lucky lady feeling like a million bucks. Here are some tips to help make sure everything goes off without a hitch.

Start by decking out your space in lovely colors. Hang criss cross ribbed lanterns throughout the party - they bring a nice bit of flair to the party, and when the sun goes down they'll bask it in a lovely cascade of hues. While you're at it, why not light a few mini vanilla heart candles? They'll give the party space a delightful scent. You can even sprinkle a bit of diamond confetti across the dinner table to really give the space a classy vibe.

Of course, this is all about the leading lady, so make sure to deck her out in the most royal clothing you've got! You can even go so far as to rent a lavish gown from a store for her to wear during the party. She'll be sure to appreciate the gesture. See if you can find a tiara as well.

As far as activities go, you have plenty of choices. Perhaps you can watch your favorite princess-themed movies. Or gather around and lavish the bride with compliments and praise. After all, what princess doesn't love to be told how wonderful she is?

Don't forget about the other ladies, though. As they leave, make sure they head home with a bag filled with great stuff. Personalized stemless wine glasses and mini purse-shaped manicure sets are sure to go over well. Although the bride-to-be is certainly going to be the focus of the party, there's no reason the rest of those in attendance can't feel a little bit like royalty as well.
