Jake Gyllenhaal has icier things on his mind for the upcoming celebration of his 30th birthday.
This December, the actor will be celebrating in the Arctic Circle, complete with a guest list of killer whales, walruses, and of course, his family. As for dress, it's less business casual and more scuba-chic.
"The only reason I'm doing it is because I wanted to do something that absolutely terrified me - killer whales and walruses and freezing cold water? That seems absolutely terrifying," he confessed to the New York Daily News.
Not that Jake will be concerned about decor when he's swimming among towering edifices of natural wonder, but what would be in your guests' goodie bags if you had to plan for such an event? Snowflake wine stoppers may be a moot point, but they could also double surprisingly well as wine popsicle sticks.
If you gave out mini cocktail shakers, at least you'd know there would be no such thing as not enough ice.
Then again, save that thought for a possible later event (did we say baby shower?). According to the Toronto Sun, Jake's biological clock is ticking, and the only thing that might be more exciting to him than a North Pole bash would be a mini Gyllenhaal.
