It seems as though few things would make Lady Gaga want take a break from performing, and apparently, her birthday isn't one of them. After all, what better way to kick off Gaga's birthday than with a special performance, complete with cake and all the icing?
Gaga was performing for her Monster Ball tour at Los Angeles' Staples Center on Monday night, during which her backup dancers snuck backstage and brought out an enormous red cake. The icing on the proverbial pastry was the massive birthday singalong, performed by none other than her dedicated fans.
We loved this special display of monster affection, but perhaps getting a small taste of a Gaga shindig makes it that much more fun to imagine what a full-fledged bash would look like.
Maybe if she added some pyrotechnics, enforced a strictly bizarro dress code for her guests and made a sweeping entrance in some strange, surreal vessel could we say that this was the real deal. And as guests, we could only expect to walk off with rather curious birthday party favors - maybe an "about to hatch" kitchen egg timer favor with a miniature Gaga inside.
