Holidays recall the best of the year's festive occasions - and with many of these calendar-saving dates, we often associate joyous parades. So what should be so hard about bringing the brass horn-blowing, baton-twirling atmosphere to your next holiday party?
We're not saying you have to hire your town's marching band in order for your party to be a success. Just use some visual concentration to recall what you see at a parade - colorful costumes, lots of movement and plenty of stuff flying through the air.
Of course, you'll need good enough context to throw confetti around, lest everything be so up in the air. Organize games (we're thinking musical chairs and cake walks) during which participants can toss some goodies around each time someone wins a prize.
For this, we can only suggest sweets, flowers, herbs or confetti. Worried about the clean-up? You can at least make it easier by using eco-friendly confetti (you won't have to worry about Mother Earth in the process).
