The fans were simple but perfect. They were very inexpensive and very functional as we are having our ceremony outside in July. The only downside is that you have to be careful when closing the fans in order to prevent the paper from bending out of shape.

Overall I would definetly recommend this product. The only that I didn't like (but it would not keep me from purchasing more) is that it was just alittle hard to close back. It takes alittle bit to get the folds to line back up right, but it's not that big of an issue.
