I organized a large (200 people) reception for my employer. Our theme was Chinese good luck symbols. The fortune cookie seemed like a perfect fit for our theme. My only regret is that they weren't available in a matte finish. The gold was a little too gold and too shiny, so I had to spray paint all 200 holders myself to tone them down. Still, I think they were well worth the cost.
