Every year, my alma mater holds a fundraiser which is a ladies' tea. Each table hostess is responsible for decorating her own table, from the linens, flowers, flatware, dishes, down to every detail. These little teapots were the perfect placeholders for our event and everyone raved that things were perfect down to the last detail. One guest even asked if she could take hers home! We used these as placecard holders on the table for little girls' tea party. I plan to use these whenever we have tea parties (moms or kids) and also to label dishes for buffets.

I purchased these place card holders for a "grandmother's tea" my daughter and I hosted for the two grandmas. They added a perfect touch to the table. I sat them on top of a fall leaf, which drew them into the theme of our tea party. The grandmothers raved over them. And, I was amazed at the quality. They are surprisingly heavy for how little they are. I'm sure they'll last for years...and I'll be passing them on to my grandchildren some day. I'm so glad I bought them. I may even get another set! Highly recommended!

I am using these on a second table I am setting for the Breast Cancer Tea and Fundraiser. My theme on that table is a Mad Hatter tea party so I will use these and add colorful place cards. I envision these going with a formal setting as well. Very versital use.
