We loved these beautifully detailed pineapples to hold the guests placecards at their tables. It added the right amount of glitz to the table without looking too much like a "theme". The idea that a pineapple is a symbol of hospitality and a welcome to the guests was subtle. It looked elegant with the white flowers as centerpieces. Overall the silver pineapples added to the effect!

I ordered these for my destination wedding in Maui. We are having a small wedding with only 20 guests, so I ordered 2 sets (a total of 24). Even though the description includes the measurement, they were smaller than I imagined, but they are sturdy and they are made of heavy material, so I am not worried about the wind at the outdoor reception blowing the place cards over. The problem is that the "spikes" on the top of the pineapple get in the way of the slit that is supposed to hold the paper place card. Out of the 24 that we ordered, only 6 of them had a slit that was straight across without any "spikes" getting in the way. My fiance is handy, so he was able to go to the home improvement store to find a tool to grind down the "spikes" to make the slit even all the way across the top. Otherwise some of the place cards would have been sitting crooked and some I would have had to throw away. Besides the major issue with having to reconstruct ¾ of them[...], they are sturdy and I do think that they will be adorable at our Hawaiian wedding!
