The Wedding Bird Cage was used as a card holder for the wedding gift envelopes. I added 2 white wedding doves and small branches to the top of the cage. It was simple and beautiful. I was pleased and the Bride and Groom were very appreciative.

My fiance and I ordered this bird cage as well as the "Wedding Wishing Well" so that guests could write words of advice/wisdom and place the cards into the bird cage. I noticed from another review that the bird cage did not have paper on the bottom, so I bought a piece of cardboard that matched my wedding colors and placed it on the bottom (which worked out perfectly).

Although this bird cage was more expensive than I'd have liked, it was quite cute when adorned with ribbon to match the shower theme. It worked perfectly for gift cards at the bridal shower, and the bride liked it so much, they used it at the wedding reception, too.

I liked this birdcage envelope holder because it matched my theme of Lovebirds!! Only thing I don't like is the bottom doesn't have a broad or something to prevent envelopes from falling throw the bottom. What I did was leave the package think paper in the bottom but it is still good quality.
