Simply fill the vase with water and set the floating candle on top. The vase can even be customized with a themed design, two first names and the wedding date. Set includes vase, silver stand, white floating candle and two 6" taper candles. Floating candle burns for up to 10 hours. Unity candle vase measures 3.5"W x 9"H and holds up to 36 ounces. It fit into our service nicely. Our respective children lit the tapers and then handed them off to us to light the floating candle. I thought it a nice touch.
Plus the personalization makes it a pretty keepsake. Only downside I can see is having to change the water in the floating candle regularly if you keep it out as a decoration.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
