Don't let a rogue videographer ruin your wedding

Don't let a rogue videographer ruin your wedding

What's worse than shaky camera shots of feet, grass and people who have no business being in your film? Having all of this and more feature prominently in your wedding video, of course.

Martin and Heidi Shubrook of Essex, England, are suing their wedding videographer for - you guessed it - shooting images of "guests' feet, grass and even some people who weren't at the wedding," the New York Daily News reports.

What can we all learn from this? It's important to always check out the credentials of any professional you hire for your wedding, be it cameraman, DJ, florist or wedding planner. That being said, there's always a certain level of unpredictability, and to that extent, it's best to be as prepared as you possibly can while allowing some room for the occasional blunder.

One thing you may be able to exercise some control over is the quality of your wedding favors. Whether you offer guests edible treats or keepsake memorabilia, this is one way to ensure that everyone leaves happy.
