U.K. bride to ride in converted dumpster to wedding

Most of us will go to great pains to keep our weddings from looking trashy.

The word may have new meaning, however, now that English bride Noreen Quin will be arriving at her wedding registry in a skip, which is essentially a glorified dumpster.

The BBC reports that Quin's fiance Nick Kearns "wanted to make a special carriage for his princess." It took Kearns, who owns a skip-hire company, a little over two weeks to design the vehicle, which will also carry the wedding party to the reception.

"It's got bells, lights, curtains, the whole lot. You wouldn't chuck rubbish in it when you see it. He's even put a roof on it," Quin told the news source.

The trash-carriage could prove inspiring for couples who are looking to jazz up their weddings with a bizarre touch of personal flair, even if they don't go to quite those lengths. A custom printed table runner, wedding banner or dance-floor decal would let couples bring their own personality to the decor and could be a great way to set your soiree apart from the rest.
