A:Ecofetti is a unique starch-based material. The Rice Cut "Pastel Colors" are made from a corn starch base and the "Vibrant Colors" are made from a gluten base. When wet, it will begin to dissolve right away. Usually it will be completely dissolved within 48 hours, but the speed depends on water temperature and volume of confetti.

Q:Can you tell me approximately how many scoops one bag of confetti has? I am looking to fill 150 , 4 by 6 inch bags.

A:Each bag comes with 5-6 cups of confetti, so if you measure how many of your scoops it takes to make one cup, you could then multiply that by 5.5 to get an average of how many of your scoops are in the bag. Most of our customers give their guests 2-3 teaspoons of confetti each, but your 4x6 bags are a little on the big side, so they could hold more confetti than normal. I would recommend putting a good amount of confetti in the bag to your liking, maybe starting with 4 or 5 teaspoons to see how you like that.
