      I gave this to my boyfriend as part of a Valentine's Day gift. I wrote out my own little fortune/saying that is something special to the two of us. There is a special meaning behind fortune cookies for us, so it was the perfect gift! He absolutely loved it and it is on display in our home. We get many good comments about it.

          My boyfriend collects fortune cookie fortunes; they hold sentimental significance for us as a couple. He's always tucked them randomly where ever he can. I bought him this as a surprise. I tucked it into the bottom of a Chinese food box that was stuffed with fortune cookies. He didn't realize it was there until he'd gone through the box. When he saw it he was not only surprised, but he LOVED it!
          Everything about it is perfect. He's very simplistic, everything is clean lines and crisp colors. The bright white silver and elegance of the box fit him perfectly. It opens and closes easily and sits 'just so' on the table top. It doesn't wobble around... which is something I was afraid of. It's solid and heavy for it's size. The box will hold several fortune cookie fortunes, I'm sure well over a year's worth, even with as often as we eat Chinese. It was accidentally knocked on the floor, onto hardwood flooring, and it didn't make a mark. We were thrilled! The only downside we've found so far is that the high polish shows every fingerprint. My boyfriend wipes it off every time he puts a fortune inside of it. Other than that though, we have NO complaints. Its WONDERFUL! Thank you for providing such a high quality, unique, product that holds a great deal of sentimental value for us.
